Case Study: Comfort Cargo & Easy Logistics: Website, Shipment Tracking, and SEO Growth

Problem

Comfort Cargo & Easy Logistics, a UK-based freight company serving routes between the UK, Europe, the U.S., Nigeria, and Ghana, needed a professional online presence that could clearly communicate its services, build customer trust, and give customers a way to track shipments. The business had years of operational experience but needed a modern digital platform to support visibility and customer enquiries.

Business Context

I designed and developed a customer-facing logistics website that organized the company’s air freight, sea freight, door-to-door delivery, and commercial shipping services. I also implemented a shipment-tracking experience, enabling the company to manage and monitor over 238 shipments, including packages ranging from approximately 45 kg to 300 kg+.

Tools Used

WordPress, Elementor, on-page SEO, technical SEO, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, website performance optimization, and shipment-tracking website functionality.

Quantified Impact

Since launch, the website has generated approximately 1,000 active users and 8,700 tracked user interactions, establishing measurable traffic from a previously untracked online presence. Organic search performance reached 1,680 impressions, 128 clicks, a 7.6% CTR, and an average Google position of 7.8. Based on the documented shipment volume and the company’s stated price range, the digital platform supported a freight operation representing approximately £8,000+ in shipment value, subject to final shipment weights, routes, and quoted customer rates.
